xcopy is known to have problems with a lot of files sometimes. But in my last tests it worked fine, so I am not sure. If fdisk is able to recognize more than 512 MB (hopefully 2GB) you should first try to create a second partition (fdisk is a little tricky to handle if you never used it) and to format the second partition. dont forget the reboot after fdisk!!! If this works, it should also be able to create a big partition too. i assume the settings for legacy are set to 512 MB FAT16 (standard size)....

just an additional comment: I added two different Linux iso files on an actual virtual FD machine which a drive letter that has full 2TB FAT32 capacity (Bernds kernel) - and ran xcopy to copy all files (ca. 3,9 GB and ca. 2 GB) on to this HD. It worked fine. I noticed not problems, no crash, nothing. So I think it was a good idea to close the bug. I worked with the latest QEMU and FDT2411 /12 in the last time and noticed no installation problems, but of course fdisk and format were updated since that time. So could you check this once again? Thx.

There is a long help file at the FD help, see: https://www.bootablecd.de/FreeDOS-Internet-version/help110/en/hhstndrd/util/clamav.htm . I tested it before it was documented. Among others, it needs more than 128 MB RAM, has a complex syntax etc. The best would be to add a batch file which describes the necessary features and only starts when everything is fine. In the meantime clamav has been removed from FDT24xx (assume also from 1.4RC1).
