I just downloaded the default Windows version from the home page and ended up deleting it because it was the 32-bit version. Since MS is deprecating 32-bit support, shouldn't the default be the 64-bit version?

Some action good occurred on this but got derailed by the departure of DrK. This is still an issue that I feel affects more people than just me so a yay/nay determination would be nice.

I thought the purpose of the PotM was to highlight new projects that users would find useful.

What if the beep was instead tied to a change in the "Passphrase character count"? I realize that this wouldn't acknowledge modifier keypresses, but I think it would be better than the current issue, which I've also experienced.

It is also possible to paste an Escape character into the autotype field as a short-term solution. I do this for several entries.

An easy way to do this without any changes to PWS: 1. Under the "View" menu, select "Flattened List" 2. If you already have a "Password" column, go to 5 3. else, right-click on the heading row and select "Column Picker" 4. Drag the "Password" item from the list to where you want it on the heading row. I mention this because the process is less-than-intuitive. 5.Left-click on the "Password" column to sort the entries by password It is usually pretty easy to spot identical entries when you do this....

MrMe, thanks for the comment. The drag bar appeared long after I started using PWS and I never looked at it because I thought, "Why would I ever need that?" It does appear to do what I want with regards to entering just the password without going through the clipboard. The only thing that would make it just perfect would be if I could customize the main toolbar by adding drag bar button(s) to it instead of needing to keep the drag bar open. It would be nice, but I really don't need it.

The correct way to do this is to use the fonts that the user has selected in the "Personalization" function of Windows, not to force a font onto them. This is the standard for all common OS'es.

I second this request. It is extremely common for websites to ask you to enter just your password when you are already logged in and want to change something about your account. Currently, the only way to do this is to copy the password to the clipboard and then paste it into the site which, I assume, is less secure than allowing autotype to push the characters directly into the keyboard buffer. I'd like to have a second autotype function that autotypes just the password by default. If it can be...
