I've been using Ditto for a long time for simple sharing of a history of clips from two computers. Recently, one computer ("computer B") will "load" and share the clips it takes into the DB, but only see clips from the other computer ("computer A") in the Ditto window. Those clips don't make it into the Windows clipboard (i.e. into where I can CTRL-V to paste them). IOW, when I use CTRL-C on computer B, it is available via CTRL-V on either computer, but using CTRL-C on computer A is availble via...

But how did they become sticky in the first place? The machine that won't receive clips IS enabled to receive them!

Ah! I was able to shift-click for the entire list (100+?) and do that. Excellent. Why are my clips becoming sticky? Can I turn off stickies totally? I still am only able to share clips with friends one-way. Did the logs provide anything useful? Thanks.

"Fixup sticky clip order" doesn't make any difference. I have for days had the same clips at the top of the list, but I noticed this morning (before doing the "fixup") that the items are different. I find the "sticky" implementation very problematic. It isn't explained anywhere (that I can find), and it isn't obvious how to add "stickyness" and removal is buried in a submenu for setting clip order. It looks like I have a very large list of sticky clips. How did they get that way? How can I remove...

Thanks for the response. I am already identifying the systems via IP address, and the machines can definately ping each other. It looks like the local clips are getting added, but the list is being ordered strangely. If I search (which I hadn't been doing for new clips), I do see the new (local) clip. I don't see any options for re-sorting the entire list. All I see are options to move an individual clip up or down, top or bottom. I started with new logs and attempted to copy and paste back and forth....

Update: I found the log (c:\users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Ditto\Ditto.log), but nothing is standing out. If I look at the stats, on one machine I have X clips sent and zero clips recieved (since last start), and on the other computer, I have the opposite, but the exact same count, X. The computer that is recieving has it's own clips as well as the other computer's clips in the Ditto list window. The computer that isn't recieving (but is sending) is also usually not adding it's own clips to the...

I love Ditto and have been using it for many years, but lately, I have been having on and off issues with the "Friends" feature. I heavily use two machines all day and the ability to transfer information on one to the other and have it stored in the Ditto database is fantastic (and essential for me, really). It has generally worked, but lately I am sometimes seeing a one-way share and/or I copy something on Computer A and it's not available on Computer B. If I go back and copy it again, it usually...
