Hi Seymour - thank you! You're a hero. That worked - I follwed the steps as described and it is now up and running on my new laptop. FOr the record - it was Step 1 that worked and I did have yo download both 86 and 64 to get it to work. I didn;t think to ask AI! I shoIt's now made all of the 'headers' for my saved files red - not sure what that is about - but it wokrs and plays. I greatly appreciate your help! Thank you.

Thanks Seymour. I tried that but the same thing happens, Screen pops up for a second and disappears. this is what the CMD prompt looks like: C:\Users\thoma>cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyABC" C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyABC> Any other thoughts?

I have been using the program for years. I recently got a new laptop and I am trying to get it to run. It has a recent version of WIN 11 Pro. I have been through the downlload and install twice. THe icon is on my desktop but when i try to open, a screen (looks like an old DOS prompt) pops up quickly and then closes. Please help!
