Many thanks for your reply, Neil. I didn't know that Unicode make a distinction between titlecase and uppercase. Given that, the file can be found at https://www.unicode.org/Public/UNIDATA/SpecialCasing.txt (just for reference). Sorry, this was a mistake (and there seems to be no editing option of the original message): Would it be possible that SCI_UPPERCASE would not expand single characters into extra characters? With current behavior,SCI_LOWERCASE gets back as a different string with this characters when SCI_UPPERCASE was used before.

John, your comments are flattering, but I’m not that smart. I don‘t code. I’m only a MuPDF user that faces a change in the library (FreeGLUT replacing GLFW in the latest 1.12-rc1 version) and these changes are essential for the searching functionality (with non-ascii characters).
