When running the command "xarchiver --extract-to <a_directory> <a_RPM_archive>", I get a segmentation fault whereas extracting from the GUI succeeds. The provided patch corrects the problem.
Hey Pablo, thanks for letting me know, I was unaware of this.I think the
author should have contacted me first, but it doesn't matter. What do you
mean with: "closing this project here"?
How about contacting the new author at GitHub and agreeing how to close
this project here?
Sorry, I’m only a user, I don’t do coding.
Many thanks for your help,
Pablo
[bugs:#93] Crash when directly extracting RPM archives

I agree that he could have contacted you, but it seems this was more a fork than a project transfer. (This is my personal opinion on what I think It happened.)
What I meant with closing the project is informing that this project is discontinued (or no longer maintained) and further development takes place in the address I sent in my previous message.
But this is only my opinion. Of course, do as you please (or as you see it fits you ;-)).
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:

Hey Nico, thank you so much for your patch. Unfortunately I do not have time to develop Xarchiver. Would you like to take the project over?
Hi,
Sadly, I will not have time either.
Best regards,
Nico.
Hi Guiseppe,
there seems to be further development of your project at https://github.com/ib/xarchiver.
How about contacting the new author at GitHub and agreeing how to close this project here?

I'm fully available to update the SVN version with patches provided by
users. At the moment that branch on github looks like a project transfer.
