Since GrandOrgue is open source software and ASIO is closed source, GrandOrgue can't be distributed with ASIO support. In most cases one can use WDM-KS or WASAPI instead, but if you really need ASIO support the only option is to compile GrandOrgue yourself, as oulined in this wiki page. There are more details in this wiki, under "Building GrandOrgue on Windows 10 for Windows platforms". You will need to dowload the ASIO SDK files from Steinberg. For more info on this licensing issue, see this Adacity...

Good call Bas. I disabled the option to randomize pipe speaking and the phasing effects are gone. Therefore I think it is safe to attribute the distortion to that random detuning feature, rather than the looping as I thought previously. Thanks!

I have listened to the demo on Contrebombarde and the swells sound great. I also downloaded the swellbox demo ODF and followed the excellent intructions to run it at home, and there were no problems with transitions between loops. However, in my testing I did notice one issue: Each sample has multiple loop points, and my understanding is that GO selects loops randomly to make the sounds more varied and realistic. This means that the "swell open" sample is not always in sync with its corresponding...

I second CatOrg - it shouldn't be too hard to have the tremulant synthesizer modulate frequency as well, given that frequency is already modified by temperaments etc. Or is my thinking too naive here...

I'd love to see this as well, but it seems it would require some additional audio processing/filtering mechanisms that GO doesn't yet include. It seems Lars Palo and Nick Appleton did some work on this in 2013 but it was abandoned for whatever reason. Perhaps a quick solution to this would be to add some kind of "swell coefficient" for each rank and even pipe, which could be defined in the ODF, so that different ranks are attenuated more than others in the same enclosure. Right now I've added an...

Thank you Martin, that worked. So MIDI input is working after suspend but audio needs a refresh. Although the cache reload does take a few seconds, it beats booting the whole organ again! It would still be nice to see the panic midified in a future release.
