Is there a prospect that SEB will soon support multiple screens? I am sure it is not the internet or anything like that. We take exams daily throughout the Netherlands and every location has the same loading problems.
It is currently still not possible to open the tabs on a second screen. In addition, it now takes a long time before the PDF documents are loaded. This takes a lot of time while taking the exam. In addition, it is not possible to open multiple tabs with PDF documents. Each time they disappear into the background. We are now almost a year further and we do not yet have a solution to our problem with two screens or opening multiple documents. Now the problem with slow loading has been added.
I want to give an update on this case: This problem seems to be resolved (at least with the now 2.3 live version) aka since you remove that Secure PDF.js thing and started using the Firefox internal PDF viewer as this seems to adheare the screen resolution / sizes with multiple screens.
Great thanks for the update. I'll patiently wait for the SEB update to be realeased and will start testing again (for the different exam enviroments we use) once it is released
Is there any progress on this issue? While we would like to update to the new version it is impossible as long as the internal PDF viewer is acting weird (and not being able to select an external / other one that SEB uses).
I am able to reproduce it on my own computer (not exam PC but is using the exam configuration) and have reproduced the issue on an exam laptop using the latest SEB version (2.2.3) as 2.1.8.1 does not have the issue as it is using an external PDF viewer (we are using PDF sumatra for it here) that automatically resizes itself to the screensize it is opened on. See the attachments for what I mean. The page I am using is an example web page where PDF's are opened from the website (just like in the exams...
