Yeah, ten years later, much of that is still the case. You still have to Save-as (the file you already saved), causing the overwrite warning (in Windows 7); choosing different tools and functions often prompts you with a warning to save the work, whereupon it wipes everything off the staff. Playing a piece is apparently just from the beginning, which is not what you want if you're composing. There's no scale change and everything is tiny and therefore easy to mis-click. Left and right hand indicators...
I think you mean those are files I should keep as they were. Those files aren't in the update's zipped files. So I'm guessing I just extract all the files in the zip over the old version. Is that right? Sorry if it's a dumb question. I asked because sometimes software updates expect you to just update the exe. Edit: OK, solved, thanks. I unzipped all to original folder (after closing Ditto) and accepted Copy and Replace option in Windows dialogs. Seems fine.

Hi, I was just looking for somewhere to learn more about this interesting BASIC dialect, and found this forum, but nobody's here. I installed smallbasic on my phone first, and then a Galaxy tablet, and so far I like the IDE. The bits of the syntax I've picked up also seem nice, intuitve and concise - I appreciate lower case keywords instead of having to constantly toggle caps lock.
