I looked at this root dialog, but it does not perform the quite same function, nor does it show a base note that is already applied to a sample. Changing the RootKey changes the instrument mapping, while changing the base sample note changes the sample playback rate. Note the former applies at the instrument level, the latter at the sample level. It is basically like the fine tune setting, only with halftone steps. I've attached an example module. The same instrument is loaded twice, but sample #3...
