Hi, effectively while checking within configure phase, I get the following message checking for LAS_GetVersion in -llas... no checking for versionString in -lpdal... no this, despite I've installed PDAL (now pdal 2.2.0 (git-version: Release)) by source and not by apt. Any hints? TIA best, fz
Volker I've just installed pdal with apt (ubuntu). Now I've pdal 2.0.1 (git-version: Release). But, after config, make and install I can't find any cmd reference to pdal (eg. saga_cmd io_pdal). I suspect I need a more indeep respect apt for pdal installation, right? TIA best, franz
Hi Volker, So I'll start with pdal. Asap I'll sent news on Wiki. thank you franz
Hi, while in the compiling phase of latest SAGA version (7.9) in a Linux env (both ubuntu 20.04 and fedora 33), I wonder how make SAGA able to work with LAS and so in particular if choose liblas or pdal. If its worth the time, I'll prefer pdal because it seems to me more up-to-date respect liblas. So, any hints about? Experiences? Anyway I would like to find more detailed instructions on how compile SAGA with suppl library (liblas etc..) on Wiki area. TIA best, franz
Hi, I wonder if someone has tested the combination QGIS & SAGA (7.x version) in the same docker image. I find few experience with SAGA 2.X , but I wish test among the latest big release. TIA Best and stay safe!! fz
Hi at all I need (wish...) to build SAGA GIS for FEDORA 20/21 enabling LAS import-export...
