Stuck black overlay screen when AI player contact during turn transition
Hi Larry, thanks for fixing it! I uploaded a save game a little while ago where the error can be reproduced clearly at https://sourceforge.net/p/freecol/bugs/3370/, without realizing that the bug was better explained here. In any case, I tested it by playing all the way to victory, and I didn’t notice any negative effects. I hadn’t noticed this bug before because I don’t usually let my units get captured that easily hahaha. ;D Thanks a lot for the contribution!
Hello, sorry for reopening this issue. It seems to be fixed in https://github.com/FreeCol/freecol/pull/167. To reproduce it, simply do nothing and end the turn. The REF in Wiltwyck will defeat a lot of the human player's troops. After that, try to force the end of the turn again, and you will get an "Unit not owned by player" error. I have tested it both with and without the patch. With the patch applied, the error no longer occurs. Thanks to everyone who helped with this: Larrydgray for fixing it....

Hello Robin, The files in C:\Games\FreeCol\1.2.0 were updated today, but FreeCol.exe and FreeCol (2GB memory).exe still show a last modified date of 4/07/2024. This is normal — that date is the release date of FreeCol 1.2.0. About memory usage: The instructions say to use “FreeCol (2GB)” if you have less than 8 GB of RAM. Since your last log shows that the game only has about 1 GB of memory available: memory: 1050673152 you should use the 2 GB shortcut. About the missing files: When I install FreeCol...
