I must admit that I sometimes throw the whole stack in and scan them all. Then save pages by selecting and saving. Wizards are annoying, so I doubt I would vote for that one. 😊 But if you think another button would complicate things, then I defer to your judgment. Restarting the app resets the options. In other words, once you get things set up, restarting the app resets to some other defaults and your settings are forgotten.
