This is most probably due to the options you've selected in the settings. Indeed EasyABC might add a few lines according to the settings before sending it to abcm2ps to render. Look in the internal message menu in the ABC file that is processed, you will have it complete. Not ideal but it helps.

Unable to change tempo once playback begins

Hi, In version 1.3.8.7, fluidsynth is used underneath to play the midi files. In this case it is not possible to change tempo while playing. As using fluidsynth has some cons, in next release being prepared another means is used in order to directly connect to Apple Midi Synthesizer. Will see to still have fluidsynth embedded to be able to export to wav or other formats.
