#65 Unable to change tempo once playback begins

Using EasyABC 1.3.8.7 on MacOS 15.3.1 Sequoia, I am unable to change the Tempo once playback of a tune has started. It is changeable before playback begins. I recall that in earlier versions, I could adjust playback tempo while playing a tune, and that was useful.

I realize this is a fairly minor problem and am very grateful for the work developers are doing to maintain and improve EasyABC, which I rely on.

Hi,
In version 1.3.8.7, fluidsynth is used underneath to play the midi files. In this case it is not possible to change tempo while playing.
As using fluidsynth has some cons, in next release being prepared another means is used in order to directly connect to Apple Midi Synthesizer.
Will see to still have fluidsynth embedded to be able to export to wav or other formats.
