I agree that the floor levels are more or less managed as layers. I am more talking about layers/ floor. The purpose is to be able to remove (per floor level) in one click the layers that the user does not want to see. If you are working on walls , you my want to remove the furnitures, the measurment lines, from the display to get a more simple work view... It is of course a "nice to have", and not really essential, but I feel this would give a more comfortable user experience.
