So i switched back to libimage-sane-perl and leave cleanup unchecked, scanned 2 Pages and this is what I've got.

so i switched back to scanimage, unchecked cleanup and it worked again.

ok, because the scanner isn't recognized properly, i switched the interface to libimage-sane-perl and it gets stuck again so i have to kill it.

so i did another try, i switched to tesseract, the error is still there, but now it works! I scanned one page and it was processed fairly quickly. Save as pdf works too. But now it takes ages to recognize the scanner the scan button was greyed out, i had to switch it on manually. Have a nice Sunday
