    Having a few programs that only run in Win10 or above, I've been forced to 'downgrade' from Win7 to a new Win11Pro64 PC. Almost nothing works properly in Win11, not least 7-Zip. I want .zip (and other archive) files to open in 7-Zip when I double-click them, but they won't. I've tried all the solutions suggested on a multitude of websites, but Win 11 still insists in opening a double-clicked Zip in a fake 'directory' of Xplorer2 rather than in 7-Zip.     Thanks Icke. I had a look at that site, but there was no compiled .exe for Windows, so I'll just stick with Gixen until something better comes along.
