Apparently this does not always happen, which makes it hard to reproduce...

While I still do not have access to the printer due to extended lockdown in my country, I found a picture I made to a printed page from last year which might help a little understanding what is wrong with the prints. Contrast has been slightly increased to make the faults more visible (page shrinked by a factor of 2 or 3 except on the yellow part)

Sure, thank you. I will try compiling Gutenprint once I get back to my printer, and will make sure to let you know once I am able to test this again (hopefully soon, though unlikely before April 20th due to strict Italian measures)
