One of the big advantages that Ditto has to me is that I don't have to touch the mouse at all when using it. I can operate it using the keyboard exclusively, which is very important to me. One thing I'd like to see is the ability to switch between regular search mode and regex search mode using the keyboard. Right now it requires opening 2 levels of menus, which makes it very cumbersome. What do you think about assigning a keyboard shortcut to it? Not a global one, a shortcut that can only be used...
Awesome, thank you!
Hey, Sometimes I copy information that's secret, and I don't want Ditto to remember it in its database. Is it possible to tell Ditto "Here is a regular expression, any text snippet that matches it should not be saved"? Thanks, Ram.
You're right, feel free to close this ticket.

Maloney: I tried what you said but it didn't help. I tried copying a text snippet and then searching for it instead of assuming it'll be on the top, but it wasn't in the results. I tried this with several text clips. I also tried clicking "fixup sticky clip order" but it didn't solve the problem.
I've been using Ditto for many years, on several computers. Now I had to upgrade one of my computers to Windows 10. (All my other computers are on Windows 7.) I installed Ditto, but when I copy anything to the clipboard, it doesn't appear on Ditto. I can browse old entries (I imported my Ditto database from an older computer) but new entries aren't being added from the clipboard. I can press Ctrl-C on stuff but when I bring up Ditto, it shows me just the old segments, not the new ones I copied.
I'm happy that you accepted it! For what it's worth, I think this one (f-strings)...
