Skim
Even when you compare Skim to Mac OS Preview, Skim is still blurrier than Preview (see attachment -- Skim is on top, Preview on the bottom). Since Preview and Skim both use PDFKit, this suggests that Skim is still not performing as well as it could. Using Skim 1.4.29 (103) and Preview 9.0 (909.18) on macOS Sierra 10.12.6.
