Thanks for your help, the solution was to upgrade to a newer version of REDUCE, I found that using revision 5122, 5129, and 5151 are all not erroring on this input. I have updated the build scripts to use the updated versions of REDUCE from september now. This issue can be closed now.

Greetings, I am trying to do something like load_package normform; first jordan(mat((6,5,-2,-3),(-3,-1,3,3),(2,1,-2,-3),(-1,1,5,5))); which works fine in the terminal using redcsl or redpsl However, when I send that command via the Pipe from the Julia language, the return expression is empty and does not contain the answer. Can you reproduce this problem on your end? Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Is there any progress on separating the OSX redpsl build from the full distribution and using the gcab for making a portable Windows redpsl for the next release cycle? If it's possible to do this with CSL too, please let me know. Regards, Michael
