change? or what they do say? https://www.heise.de/forum/heise-online/Kommentare/7-Zip-Update-stopft-Codeschmuggel-Luecke/Vertrauen-in-7-zip-schwindet/posting-46441568/show/ these trolls say that you can't trust 7-zip anymore, other people say that updating is normal and not difficult, especially since winget / chocolatey / scoop / unigetUI. programs like notepad++ come with auto-update predelivered but 7-zip does not. keep in mind that auto-update of notepad++ not long time ago got hacked.
sry but ppl are talking lots of sh't lately because of the code quality of 7-zip and it's missing update-option. they don't realize that winget / unigetUI exists.

stable = debian = no non-free software alternative-stable = ubuntu = contains non-free software
somehow 7-zip won't get unfollowed by the news. i install every update i can reach through winget and especially unigetUI. but i still know plenty of devices who still rely on 7-zip version 19.00 or even later. some journalists write horrific texts and stuff like CVSS-Score 7.0.
i really enjoy 7-Zip since version 4.23. it's always a good feeling to extract or pack files with 7-Zip. the most reliable software i have met.
would be great to see this. i need this now.
congratulations on the release 7-zip 25.00
