I would like to see an enhancement for Password Safe to be able to display the authentication code. Hi MrMe, Was this in relationship to general everyday usage or during setup of an entry's TOTP? I'm discussing the latter case w/Rony. For everyday usage, where you are not in Add/Edit, you can use Display Auth Code accessible via toolbar button and entry right-click menu (see attached video clip). Thanks.

The issue of this ticket relates to Password Safe's default configuration to "Put icon in System Tray" and system tray anomalies around Windows 11 updates (i.e., this bug 1572 and does not occur on Windows 10). This issue 1572 did not exist through to the initial Windows 11 release, where a subsequent Windows 11 update affecting system focus handling was incidentally a breaking change for Password Safe's System Tray focus handling. This issue still repros Windows 10 and Windows 11 with version v3.63. Steps are pretty much the same less disabling multiple instances which may have been in the original report for appropriate/comprehensive completeness. Here are steps I took on Windows 10 and Windows 11: Install Password Safe. Manage, Options, System, uncheck "Put icon in System Tray" to disable system tray usage. Lock Password Safe. Did you use double-click or single left-click? From v3.63 forward, pwsafe uses the typical app behavior of a single left-click to present its window. If you double-click, it will certainly gain then immediately lose focus despite the change.
