I miss the feature since it got removed. I learned over time that it is not where it should be (in the CONTEXT of the item the action directly relates to) and now I am almost always directly heading for the windows main menu. I try to remember the Ctrk+K but I just can't.... takes one more year for me because I have to duplicate often but not often enough to memorize this very special one. I see KeePass as a background tool - it's beauty should be its simplicity. I would've rather removed the "Select...
Quick Paste: You can assign your own keyword(s) to a clip via their properties dialog. Activating search in quick paste then searches these texts. For me it is pretty usefull as I have to regularily share the same cryptic links so i have stored them in ditto (deactivate the clips auto delete) and retrieve them via my searchterm
I must have done something wrong in my testing. Seems, although I thought having plugins deactivated, it was AdvancedAutoTypes fault as just now I updated it to bugfix and I don't see the problem anymore. And I missed telling my KeePass versions. In the request. I am such a user. Issue: https://github.com/Rookiestyle/AdvancedAutoType/issues/22 fixed with https://github.com/Rookiestyle/AdvancedAutoType/releases/tag/v2.3.1.
Hi, tried to find others reporting this but nothing found yet. The AutoType password field shows password unhidden but only on SOME entries. Others are hidden. It seems a DB/entry specific issue since it happens also in an older KeePass version and with no plugins. I have to play with this to find out more but maybe I am just overlooking something and someone has a hint?
I am also wondering about the purpose of this feature. I guess this can be used for analyzing issues and is not a default active setting? But it just happened that I noticed it yesterday - it never appeared before to me - did no update on KeePass. So the dialog can be deactivated easily but I wonder why it suddenly appeared. Is there some more logic behind this? It feels similarly random like that strange "Trigger system deactivated" message. I am currently on 2.58
