If I open the Search window, move it in order to hide partially on the right of the screen, then close and open it again, most of the controls are not shown.

I am sorry but i can't reproduce this bug, it works for me fine.
Anyway, other time could you plz send more info about your jEdit version, jdk version, O.S. favorite lunch plz :-)
