Re: patch 1488005

Using the "simplified keyboard handling" introduced in
jedit 4.3pre5 (CVS), everything works great except when
alt keys are bound to the toggle action of a dockable,
adn the dockable is docked and has focus.

If I use alt-x to toggle the console, for example, i
can use it to bring the console up but not to make it
go away. If I change the shortcut to f2 or alt-f2, it
works.

    Hello Alan,

just as a note, I found another bug of the "simplified
    keyboard handling": Under jdk "1.5.0_06-b05",
    "Ctrl+Tab" emits an additonal "Ctrl+i",
    "Ctrl+Return" emits an additional "Ctrl+j",
    "Ctrl+Backspace" emits an additional "Ctrl+h".

The differentiation between "Ctrl+Tab" and "Ctrl+i" seems to
    be insufficient.

Maybe this is related with toggling dockables. I'll dig into
    these problems after 2005-06-07.

    Hello Alan,

both bugs should be fixed now in CVS HEAD. Please test. I'm
closing this bug report because I'm confident that the
reported bug is fixed. Please reopen this bug report if your
test shows any problems. Else, you may release 4.3pre5 (if
    you like).
