Innerscene Universal 3D Viewer is a free tool for opening CAD and mesh files directly in your web browser, with nothing to install. It reads 17+ formats, including SketchUp (.skp), AutoCAD (.dwg, .dxf), STEP, Rhino (.3dm), glTF/GLB, OBJ, STL, FBX, PLY, 3DS, 3MF, COLLADA, VRML, and X3D, so you no longer need a separate app for each file a collaborator sends.
Files are parsed and rendered locally in your browser and are not uploaded by default, which keeps proprietary and NDA work on your own machine. You can inspect layers, switch render modes, take measurements, and convert geometry to STL, OBJ, GLB, or PDF. Share links preserve the camera, lighting, and layer state, and a one line iframe snippet embeds the viewer in any page.
