About Synchro
Synchro is a web-based scheduling platform for Quebec Family Medicine Groups (GMF), teaching GMFs and multi-physician clinics. It replaces the Excel files, whiteboards and phone cascades managers use to plan their teams.
How it works: staff enter availability, absences and preferences in plain language ("no on-call Tuesdays, keep my Fridays free in March"); the clinic adds group-wide rules and fairness criteria. Synchro generates a complete, conflict-free month in seconds, balancing evenings, weekends and total shifts.
It covers three schedules no other tool handles together: walk-in slot allocation, on-call rotations, and shared-office assignment (who sits in which room each day).
Also included: a shift-transfer board (post a shift, a colleague claims it, fully traceable), a real-time shared team calendar, Google and Apple Calendar sync, mobile access, role-based permissions, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logs, daily backups, and full French/English.
