About SamLab

SamLab is an offline-first laboratory information system (LIS) for independent and hospital-attached clinical laboratories. It runs from a local database on the laboratory's own machine, so registration, barcode sample tracking, result entry, reporting and billing keep working through an internet outage and sync to the cloud when the connection returns.

Analyzers connect over ASTM, HL7 and serial links, with internal QC and Levey-Jennings charts per instrument. Reports carry reference ranges with units, flags and the verifier's identity; amendments keep their earlier value; every specimen is traceable from collection to report — the records an ISO 15189, CLIA or CAP assessment asks for.
