Elements® is a 2D CAD-based metrology software, ideal for measuring parts with very high feature density. It creates measurement routines directly from 2D CAD files with ease. It then automatically optimizes measurement paths to ensure data is gathered as quickly as possible. The Elements advantage lies in handling vast numbers of discrete features quickly and efficiently. CAD import formats include DXF, Gerber, as well as CSV location lists. Advanced review mode allows the user to visually inspect specific features in real time after a run has been completed. The coarse alignment feature allows the positioning of finders to be updated in real time for more accurate measurements. Built-in analysis tools allow for quick and easy analysis of large data trends. These tools include scatter plots, histograms of dimensional values, and whisker plots showing deviation from nominal. Measure-X® features a full set of image processing and autofocus tools, geometric functions, ANSI/ISO tolerances, easy editing, and contour analysis. Compatible with touch probes, laser, and rotary indexers. Users can address more complex GD&T requirements such as profile, and true position of features when datum features of size allow mobility on the feature and the datums. The display and reporting capabilities with analysis provide both graphical, color-coded whiskers of deviation, and GD&T callouts on the part CAD.
