CADCraft
CADCraft is an open-source computer-aided design and drafting application for creating and editing technical drawings. Its interface pairs a command line with a graphical drawing area and tools for 2D geometry, object snaps, layers, properties, dimensions, hatches, blocks, layouts, and plotting. The software reads and writes DXF and DWG files and exports PDF, SVG, and PNG. Users can create floor plans, mechanical part drawings, and other 2D designs, then arrange sheets with paper-space layouts and viewports. CADCraft runs as a native desktop app on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with an additional WebAssembly browser build. A command-line utility, JSON control protocol, and Model Context Protocol server support scripted drawing, inspection, and rendering. The project is under active development.

SolveSpace
SOLVESPACE is a free (GPLv3) parametric 3d CAD tool. Modeling 3d parts, drawing with extrudes, revolves, helixes and Boolean (union/difference/intersection) operations. Modeling 2d parts, draw the part as a single section, and export DXF, PDF, SVG; use 3d assembly to verify fit. 3D-printed parts, export the STL or other triangle mesh expected by most 3d printers. Preparing CAM data, export 2d vector art for a waterjet machine or laser cutter; or generate STEP or STL, for import into third-party CAM software for machining. Mechanism design, use the constraint solver to simulate planar or spatial linkages, with pin, ball, or slide joints. Plane and solid geometry, replace hand-solved trigonometry and spreadsheets with a live dimensioned drawing. Sketch sections using lines, rectangles, datum lines and points. Sketch circles, arcs of a circle, datum circles, cubic Bezier segments, C2 interpolating splines, and more.

QCAD
QCAD is a free, open-source application for computer-aided drafting (CAD) in two dimensions (2D). With QCAD you can create technical drawings such as plans for buildings, interiors, mechanical parts or schematics and diagrams. QCAD works on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The source code of QCAD is released under the GPL version 3 (GPLv3), a popular Open Source license. QCAD was designed with modularity, extensibility and portability in mind. But what people notice most often about QCAD is its intuitive user interface. QCAD is an easy-to-use but powerful 2D CAD system for everyone. You don't need any CAD experience to get started with QCAD immediately. Construction and modification of points, lines, arcs, circles, ellipses, splines, polylines, texts, dimensions, hatches, fills, and raster images. Very complete and extremely powerful ECMAScript (JavaScript) scripting interface. Various powerful entity selection tools.
