About Loandock
Loandock is an AI mortgage-processing platform and service for independent mortgage banks, brokers, and loan officers processing their own files. Its assistant, Clara, works in customers’ existing loan origination systems and lender portals to build loan packages, collect and check documents, pre-underwrite files, submit them to lenders, and work returned conditions. Clara follows up by text and email with borrowers and third parties such as title, insurance, employers, homeowners associations, servicers, and payoff providers. She checks documents against each condition, requests corrections when information is missing, and files material against the relevant requirement. Questions requiring judgment go to the customer’s processing team; lender underwriters retain credit decisions and final condition-clearance authority. Processors can interact with Clara through Slack, Microsoft Teams, text, email, or the Loandock dashboard.
