About Lex Cloak
Lex Cloak is PDF redaction software for Mac and Windows. It runs on your own computer, and your documents stay there.
Open a PDF and Lex Cloak scans the whole document, reading scanned pages with OCR, for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, names, addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, medical record numbers and many other identifiers. It also finds text a page does not show, like white type or words under a black box. Profiles for medical records, legal and court filings, public records, school records and forensic reports adjust what it looks for.
You review each match and decide what is removed. Lex Cloak takes the covered text out of the file, not just the pixels, and saves a redacted PDF.
Scanning is free, and so are your first three redacted documents. After that it is $35 a month or $350 a year. Built by Monty Home LLC (Denver, CO).
