Pros: Open source and free (limited).
Grammar and spell checker.
Available as a standalone application and as a plugin for OpenOffice, Libre Office, Word.
Available as extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
Ability to run on your own instance.Cons: Limited language support - only supports 20 or so languages.
Overall: LanguageTool is a must have grammar and spell check plugin which is available for most of the major office suites.
