Enterprises, researchers, developers, and studios building production-grade AI video, audio, and world simulation into their own pipelines and products.
About LTX
LTX is an open foundation model for video, audio, and world simulation. You get full control over your AI: run LTX locally on your own hardware, fine tune it on your own IP, and generate video and audio as one unified output instead of stitching together separate tools.
The latest model, LTX-2.5, is a 22B-parameter dual-stream diffusion transformer that generates native 4K video at up to 50fps, with synchronized audio and video produced in a single pass. Weights, code, and research are fully open, and independent benchmarking from Artificial Analysis ranks LTX among the top 3 AI video models globally.
Access LTX three ways: download the open weights and run it yourself, license the model for on-premise deployment with enterprise support, or build on LTX Studio, the production suite for creative teams and studios. Teams at ElevenLabs, Asteria Film Co., Magnopus, and NVIDIA already build on LTX.
LTX is production infrastructure for AI teams generating motion and physical environments inside their own pipelines, not a consumer app for one-off clips.
Pricing
API: usage-based pricing, managed endpoints, no infrastructure overhead
Licensing: full commercial license for on-premise deployment, enterprise support included

LTX Product Features
AI Image Generators
LTX is primarily a video and audio foundation model, not a dedicated image generator, but it does support image-conditioned generation: you can feed a still image into LTX-2.5 and generate video from it, preserving composition, characters, and style. If you need standalone image generation as your primary use case, LTX may not be the best fit. If you need to animate, extend, or build video around existing images inside a production pipeline you control, LTX-2.5's open weights and native 4K output make it a strong option.
AI Video Editors
LTX is not a traditional timeline-based video editor. It is the open foundation model that generative video editing tools are built on. LTX-2.5 ships with a desktop app for fully local inference, and its production-grade reframing feature lets you outpaint video beyond its original frame while preserving composition, motion, and on-screen elements, which is useful inside an editing workflow. If you are looking for cut-and-trim editing software, LTX is not that. If you want to add AI generated shots, audio, or reframing into your own editing pipeline, on your own hardware, LTX-2.5 gives you the open model to build that on.
AI Video Generators
LTX-2.5 generates native 4K video at up to 50 frames per second, with audio and video produced together in a single pass rather than stitched together afterward. Built on a 22B-parameter dual-stream diffusion transformer with bidirectional cross-attention between the audio and video streams, LTX ranks among the top 3 AI video models globally per independent benchmarking from Artificial Analysis. You can download the open weights and run LTX locally, license it for on-premise deployment with enterprise support, or build on LTX Studio, the production suite for creative teams. Teams at ElevenLabs, Asteria Film Co., Magnopus, and NVIDIA already generate video with LTX. LTX is built for AI teams generating motion and physical environments inside their own pipelines, not for one-off social clips.
Artificial Intelligence
LTX is an open foundation model for video, audio, and world simulation, built by Lightricks. LTX-2.5 is a 22B-parameter dual-stream diffusion transformer that generates synchronized audio and video in a single pass, at native 4K resolution and up to 50 frames per second. Independent benchmarking from Artificial Analysis ranks LTX among the top 3 AI models globally for video generation. Unlike closed AI platforms, LTX ships with open weights, so you can download, inspect, fine-tune, and run the model on your own hardware, with no vendor lock-in and no per-generation billing. Enterprises, researchers, developers, and studios use LTX to build video, audio, and simulation capabilities directly into their own products and pipelines, from entertainment and gaming to robotics and physical AI.
Multimedia
LTX is a multimodal foundation model: one model generates and simulates across video, audio, and the physical world, instead of stitching together separate tools for each. LTX-2.5 produces synchronized audio and video in a single pass at native 4K resolution, so sound and motion stay aligned without post-production syncing. Because the weights and code are fully open, you can fine-tune LTX on your own audio and visual IP and run it on your own hardware. This makes LTX useful well beyond a single media type: entertainment studios, XR and virtual production teams, and robotics and simulation companies all build multimedia pipelines on the same underlying model.

"epic LTX studio review" Edited 2025-07-12
Pros: Gosh, there are too many things I love about this platform. Making cinematic movies, with CONSISTENT CHARACTERS! That's crazy, and it's also just a good video and image generator. When I'm low on computing seconds, I use LTXV Turbo because it's fast, efficient, and has amazing results.
Cons: THE COMPUTING SECONDS. THE AMOUNT OF PAIN THEY CAUSE MAKES ME SAD. I HATE THEM. I DESPISE THOSE COMPUTING SECONDS. GET RID OF THEM AND REPLACE THE PAID VERSIONS WITH ADVANCED TOOLS OR SOMETHING, NOT THOSE GOSH-DARN COMPUTING SECONDS!!!!
Overall: I have had an awesome experience, and I will continue to. Thank you, LTX Studio, for being an amazing tool to create and have fun with!

"A Pleasant Surprise, but with the Usual Disappointments" Posted 2025-06-26
Pros: 1) UI/UX – Simple, Robust, Effective.
The ‘X’perience has been smooth, intuitive, and genuinely enjoyable.
2) Features – Thoughtful and Well-Designed.
Every feature feels like it was built with the user in mind.
3) Speed – Unmatched.
This is hands-down the fastest response system I’ve experienced.Cons: 1) Consistency – Still not there yet.
Performance fluctuates, and reliability varies with complexity.
2) Prompt Adherence & Errors –
While infrequent, the errors that occur are significant—leading to wasted compute cycles and human effort.
3) Billing System –
Lacks transparency. Greater clarity on usage, limits, and billing logic is needed.Overall: The platform delivers strong performance in terms of speed, usability, and feature design. While the experience is generally positive, areas such as consistency, error handling, and billing transparency require further improvement to ensure long-term reliability and user trust.

"Great tools, very helpful." Posted 2025-06-25
Pros: I edited lots of existing images for a new project and created new images with LTX Studio. The processing was very simple and the quality was very good.
Cons: Errors were often generated, such as too many fingers or three legs, etc.
Overall: Overall, my experience was good and I would probably use LTX again. What I didn't like was that my remaining computing time simply expired. This is time that has already been paid for and should not simply expire.

"Love_ Interactive Storyboard & Character Desing " Edited 2025-06-29
Pros: I really like the character design feature and the story boarding feature. The ability to change each image in real time in the story board and even animate is great. This also really helps brainstorming a story board and visualize a script to either use directly or for reference. The interactive storyboard is awesome!!
Cons: Some times the initial creation from script + character to the interactive story board can be a bit wonky or commercial. I have to tweak it a lot. But that could be my approach to the software so we'll see how it fares going forward but I think it'll skyrocket.
Overall: Overall I really like it. It's definitely a great tool to use and as a creative and born artist some times ideas and concepts never see the light of day because translating them in to something tangible to execute can be a lot when you have 100 ideas at once lol, so I really like the right and left brain assistance it provides and visualizing an idea so efficiently while maintaining creative control and real-time updates.

Pros: Many good things, such as you can easily work with different AI tools and you can create your own model as well.
Cons: It is bit expensive and computer seconds goes vey fast.
Overall: It is quite good, but the computer second goes very fast. Overall good to use but if it is little bit cheap then it would be great.

"LTX Studio - A strong candidate that needs improvement" Posted 2025-06-24
Pros: I like the interface, the way the AI is building the storyboard, and, in general, the accuracy of the AI in generating particular types of scenes. It seems that the AI is more comfortable with particular genres (ie. children's, sci-fi, fantasy)
Cons: Hand and vehicle movements need a lot of improvement.
Regeneration of images and regenerating of motion is usually useless, just eating your credits. This is something that is happening across all similar applications, users being forced to pay for the AI mistakes and sometimes ridiculous errorsOverall: I have two use 2 platforms to get the results I am looking for, so I am using LTX Studio and Focal. The overall experience is good, and I hope the updates that will be done will improve things. I would prefer to stick with only one, but for now, it seems that is not the case.

"Pretty Damn Awesome" Posted 2025-06-23
Pros: I was up and going in just minutes. I actually uploaded my new original song lyrics and LTX created scenes for me that I interwove into my bands live performance.
Cons: You do use up your credits fast when you are working to get the perfect video creation. Trail and error costs you some money.
Overall: I was pleasantly surprised with the intuitive nature of the online software. I was really a novice and was up and productively running in the first night.

"LTX Studio Review" Posted 2025-06-18
Pros: I am able to make videos to share varying from motion generation to storyboard creations. It did not take me long to learn to use the various offerings on the site. And I was quite satisfied with the actor image results. They worked quite well in the creations I have made.
Cons: Motion generator will be leaving soon. It was essentially why I subscribed. And will be the reason I remain a subscriber until it leaves.
Overall: I use my monthly subscription every day. Mostly for the motion generator that will be leaving soon. I am very satisfied with the motion generator results.

"A Game-Changer for AI Filmmaking and Visual Storytelling" Posted 2025-06-18
Pros: LTX Studio has completely transformed how I approach film and commercial production. As a creative entrepreneur and AI innovator, I’ve tested many platforms, but none combine storytelling structure, AI-assisted visuals, and cinematic direction like LTX. Its pre-built shot suggestions, character tracking, and seamless transitions between real and AI-generated content make it incredibly intuitive. I especially appreciate how easy it is to bring abstract ideas and dream sequences to life — something that would take weeks with traditional methods now happens in hours.
Cons: The platform is still evolving, so rendering times can sometimes lag during peak hours, and there’s a learning curve in understanding the best prompts for specific visuals. I’d love more control over character consistency across shots.
Overall: My experience with LTX Studio has been phenomenal. I’ve used it to develop AI-driven movie concepts like AI and the Leap of Faith, commercial ads for my business, and even spiritual documentary scenes. It’s not just a tool — it’s a co-director. If you’re in media, content creation, or AI storytelling, LTX is a must-try. I’ve already recommended it to others in my industry.

Pros: Learning this was super simple and really enjoying the end result. The ability to customize actors to look look a photo is incredible.
Cons: Consistency between scenes could be better. Being able to sync to audio is something that is only in Professional version.
Overall: This has got me excited, i am hooked. Only problem i used all my monthly seconds in the first week. Will definitely be using this more.

Pros: LTX Studio's granular controls & fine-tuning puts the power of a director at your fingertips. Whether it is individual shots, timing, modifying visual elements, or maintaining consistent character appearances across scenes. This level of control closes the gap between AI generation and professional video editing.
Cons: Community Creations would have been a great addition.
Overall: Absolute beast of an all-in-one AI video generation tools in the market. No other tool allows you to go from idea to video that fast, with that amount of control and flexibility.

"Very Good Platform - Highly recommended" Posted 2025-06-18
Pros: LTX Studio offers a powerful suite of features that make it an excellent choice for creators of all skill levels. One of its greatest strengths is its ease of use—everything is incredibly intuitive, allowing users to start creating without a steep learning curve. The platform offers a free trial, which is perfect for testing out its features before committing. Professional-quality graphics are standard, and the results are both visually impressive and production-ready. Fast generation speeds help maintain creative momentum, while the editable timeline and storyboard give users full control over pacing, sequencing, and refinement. It’s a smart, streamlined creative solution.
Cons: The only thing I can say is that I wished we had better control of the number of scenes that get generated, but that really isn't much of a CON as I found good uses for the extra scenes.
Overall: LTX Studio is an outstanding online platform for image and video generation, combining ease of use with professional-grade results. The interface is intuitive and easy to learn, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced creators. What sets LTX Studio apart is its ability to produce high-quality images and cinematic videos with impressive detail. "Easy to work with!" Posted 2025-06-17
Pros: Intuitive website, Good options to work while creating the Video, you have the sensation that you have the say in almost everything that you want to create.
Cons: Sometimes the characters have fingers mixed with the product they are holding... The eyes look without the globes. And in my case, since I'm creating a recipe App, I wasn't able to add the app to the video, I needed to send it to someone else to do that.
Overall: I recommend the site, because you can do so much stuff, without needing to pay someone else, they give a lot of options, and you have full control over the creation.

"LTX Studio" Posted 2025-06-17
Pros: Ability to generate full video with sound and character lip sync speech from written Script.
Now has Veo 3 available is great hopefully will be available to standard users also as opposed to just pro users as current.Cons: The Script context window is character limited would prefer more than 100,000 characters to expand on script generation.
In breakdown of AI Script generation fields or character speech should also be available separately to the narration field for each scene generated.
Also ability to retain character speech dialogue at the same time as overall narration of the scene. Currently unable to do this in the Timeline feature.
Have an option in storyboard to generate all motion and vfx sound effects for all scenes at once. At present have to do each scene individually which is very time consuming.Overall: Excellent product however has many improvements that can be made as decripbed above.

Keeping voice over and charcter speech to run concurrently would be a excellent in each scene generated in story board as currently not available in time line.Reply from LTX -

"fantastic job with storyboarding" Edited 2025-06-17
Pros: LTX does a fantastic job with storyboarding. The way it structures scenes with detailed prompts and visual directions is incredibly helpful for creators who want to plan videos effectively. It's almost like working with a professional director who understands pacing, composition, and storytelling flow.
Cons: Unfortunately, the video generation side is still very weak. The outputs often don't match the storyboard, lack consistency, and sometimes feel rushed or unfinished. It needs major improvements in quality, transitions, and especially in matching the original visual concept.
Overall: LTX is a promising tool with great potential, especially for anyone working in pre-production or concept development. If you’re mainly looking for strong storyboarding and scene planning, it’s a gem. But if you need full video creation, it’s not quite there yet.

"Seriously impressive" Edited 2025-06-18
Pros: I’ve been using LTX Studio for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely blown away. It’s one of those tools that just makes sense — easy to use, but with a ton of creative power under the hood. I’ve used it for storyboarding, pitching visual ideas, and even mock trailers, and every time it delivers results that feel polished and professional.
Cons: 1. Rendering Can Be Slow at Times
While the results are impressive, the rendering process can sometimes take a while — especially for longer sequences or more complex scenes. It’s understandable given the detail, but still something to be aware of if you’re on a tight deadline.
2. Limited Fine-Tuning for Advanced Users
LTX Studio is fantastic for rapid visual storytelling, but if you’re used to the granular control of professional editing software (like Premiere Pro or After Effects), you might find some of the customization options a bit limited. It’s more about speed and concept than pixel-perfect post-production.Overall: What I really like is how much control you have over the look and feel of each shot. You can tweak angles, lighting, even character movement — and somehow it never feels overwhelming. It’s like having a mini production studio in your browser.
