Instinct

Pros: Instinct feels much closer to an actual personal assistant than a normal chatbot. I can text it like I would a person, hand it something that needs to get done, and let it handle the messy follow-up work.

The ability to call businesses is especially useful. Things like restaurant reservations, appointment waitlists, service issues, and other tasks that still require a phone call are exactly the kind of work I want an AI assistant taking off my plate.

I also really like that Instinct has its own email address. Letting the agent handle confirmations, account signups, and communication without flooding my personal inbox makes the whole experience feel more autonomous.

Cons: The biggest concern is privacy. Instinct needs access to a lot of personal context to be this useful, and early testers have raised questions about its permissions, security model, and terms. It is also still early and access remains limited, so I would not hand it complete control over anything sensitive without keeping a close eye on what it is doing.

Overall: Five stars from me. Instinct is one of the first AI assistants I have seen that really feels focused on taking things off my plate instead of simply telling me how to do them. The combination of texting, calling, email, proactive follow-ups, and real-world task execution makes it feel much closer to having an actual assistant in your pocket.
