Hodlnaut

Pros: I like Hodlnaut because it’s user friendly for a lot of people who are beginners in the crypto space and you can follow along quite easily. I’ve been using it for over a month and returns are pretty decent. Definitely something you’d have to consider if you like to hold crypto for the long run and earn yourself some interest.

Cons: I don’t like fees, I’m not all about fees, but considering the fact that the app is still new, is understandable and not a huge deal breaker for me. Just don’t like fees, but other than that no cons.

Overall: Overall pretty good! I would recommend to friends and family for sure if they have extra money lying around there doing nothing.

Pros: I like the visualization about seeing every sec the interest accruing. They still didn't fail with their obligations and that's a plus.

Cons: Few options and not so good interface. I would like to know more about the team in their social media: posts, podcasts, images...

Overall: I'm in almost 1 month and for now everything runs smooth. But do your own research before decide to use. When it has money involve you should be very carefully.

Pros: The rates are very competitive for all major cryptocurrencies. As of the time of writing (23-Jul-2021) the Ethereum rate beats vanilla ETH 2.0 staking.

Cons: There's no fiat on/off ramp available on the platform at the moment so it is necessary to have another account at a crypto exchange somewhere else to make full use of Hodlnaut.

Overall: Pretty good. The platform feels a bit minimalistic but contains most of the expected features of more established lenders. Competitive rates is a big plus and will keep me coming back.

Pros: Hodlnaut currently offers the best APY/APR for its all available coins.
Swap Tokens function is available too.
Platform is secure and registered/certified in Singapore. Excellent customer support too.

Cons: Limited Coins/Tokens and Withdrawal fees.
No mobile app available yet.

Overall: As a Bitcoin and Ethereum hodler, Hodlnaut gives me an ease of mind on their platform. NFA and please DYOR before committing :)

Cons: The KYC was a little funky, didn’t work on Google Chrome at the time I tried. Could be fixed now.

Overall: They’ve been transparent with everything and so far have been able to answer any questions quickly. Plus they very active on social!

Pros: Game-changing interest-preference feature where you can opt to earn interest in any supported coin.

Competitive interest rates without promotional rates for limited coins.

Cons: Service still new, needs more time in the market to compete with top alternatives.

Overall: Positive experience so far. Looking forward to more usage in the future.

Pros: I think it is an easy way to get exposed to cryptos and earning interest just by holding on to it. Good for people who wants to be invested in cryptos but don’t have the time to do much. Just HODL!

Cons: I think it would be good if we can deposit fiat and purchase coins directly on the platform.

Overall: Overall not too bad a start for people who wants to invest in crypto. Simple and fuss-free! Will recommend to my friends.

Pros: The web interface is simple and fuss free, making it easy for newcomers to pick up. The whole process is also relatively straightforward.

Cons: Nothing so far, the whole process is literally copy the code, paste it in your hot wallet and start seeing interest coming in.

Overall: It is as smooth sailing as it gets, all it takes is just 10 mins for the whole process to be done. You don’t even have to do anything to start loaning out your cryptocurrency.

Pros: Allows me to earn interest with my idle coins.
I am able to receive my interest every week.
I can choose what coin as interest.

Cons: Higher withdrawal fees compared to others.
No as many coins available.

Overall: I would just leave some coins to earn interest as I hope it will lead me to the moon with my diamond hands.

Pros: Really liked that it was easy to open an account and easy to earn interest with our idle cryptocurrencies.

The recent additional feature where we are able to choose the type of cryptocurrency of interest to be paid out is a big yes for me. This gives the users flexibility to choose what they want to earn.

Hodlnaut team is also active on social media and always ready to provide assistance to any questions the users/members have.

Oh did I also mention that they are pushing out an app version which is coming up really soon!

Cons: One feature that will be great would be to have an option to not reveal the total holdings. As of now there’s no way to have a private viewing when we are on the go. Small feature but will be good to have!

Pros: I like the clean look on the website, I like to see the interest running and the countdown to payout. The interest rates are also shown right below, making everything really transparent to users. The new feature of choosing payout currency came just in time as I just moved over from another staking platform! Instagram posts and stories are always no-nonsense crypto-related and lots of giveaways which is of course awesome! I support local talent/products!

Cons: No app and I can’t buy cryptocurrency on Hodlnaut. Withdrawal fees too.

Overall: Very pleasant thus far. Not many cons I can point out so far. Hope things stay this way! Just wish my migration of crypto from the other platform can be faster!! 😜

Pros: 1. Ease of usage: The website is so easy to navigate. Sending your crypto from address to address is no task for the faint-hearted, but instructions are laid out so clearly and are easy to follow. Bonus: dopamine rush as you see your interest amount increasing by the second.

2. High interest rate: BTC & ETH have minimum 6% APY, which is more than what I've seen on binance, crypto.com and other major players. Weekly interest payouts are also prompt.

3. Wonderful community: There's an active telegram group with administrators answering all queries in a matter of seconds. It's also good that HODLnaut is a local Singaporean setup, and I feel safe trusting my money with them.

Cons: 1. Few coins can be staked: Right now, only BTC and ETH. Rest are stablecoins such as DAI, USDC, USDT, etc. Please consider allowing more coins to be staked! (E.g. ADA, VET)

Overall: I really enjoy using HODLnaut! The ease of use and wonderful community makes me feel like my money and crypto is safe with them. Would recommend 100%.

Pros: Nice UI! One of the highest rates APY. Friendly and responsive team in telegram. Safe place for passive income generating.

Cons: No free withdrawal. Would be nice to have at least one free withdrawal per month.

Overall: Has been a good journey so far. Tried others and this is one of my favourite app. Fuss free and approachable team!

(b) High interest rates with no minimum amount, no lock-up periods!
- To be fair, there are other platforms that offer high interest rates but these rates often come with strings attached (i.e. stake their platform token or stake for at least 3 months or both in order to enjoy the highest rates)
- Hodlnaut removes all these barriers and allows you to enjoy the highest possible rates with any amount for any amount of time

(c) The Web Platform is easy and great to use!
- From creating your account to depositing your coins, the process is simple and fuss-free!

Cons: LOWLIGHTS
(1) Withdrawal fees can be bothersome
- Unfortunately, if you want to withdraw your earnings, there's currently a withdrawal fee. But the team has mentioned on Twitter that they are currently working on it!

(2) Limited coins available for staking
- Hodlnaut currently only offers 5 of the most popular assets for staking (BTC, ETH, DAI, USDC, USDT)
- Arguably, most users can probably do pretty well with staking any of these 5 tokens. But it is honestly rather underwhelming when other platforms are offer a much wider variety.
- Hope to see the platform support more "blue chip" tokens!

Overall: FINAL THOUGHTS
Hodlnaut is a young company with a lot going for it. I do feel that they are heading in the right direction by minimising barriers for users to enjoy high interest rates.

Their branding is on point - that sometimes in trying to head to the moon, all we need to do is to be an astronaut who hodls, a hodlnaut.

Be a hodlnaut, bank less and live more!

Pros: In my experience, Hodlnaut has the best website, the best interest rates for Bitcoin and Ethereum without any staking, and the best customer service.

Cons: The sign-up process was a hassle; I wish they would pay interest on more coins, like Litecoin, Cardano, Polkadot, or Chainlink; and I wish they had ACH transfer.

Overall: Excellent. I love seeing how much interest I am accumulating each second. The interest rates are fantastic, and customer service is very responsive.

Pros: Super user friendly.
Crypto in and more crypto out.
Interest rates are the highest compared to competitors.

Cons: Unable to swap crypto in the platform anymore.
Have to accept more cryptocurrency.

Overall: Highly recommended if you wish to generate more crypto like BTC, ETH and stable coins.
Paid out weekly and compounded.

Pros: I have been a user of Hodlnaut and part of community. The community is great. Latest iOS app addition is easy to use and has all the basic functionalities required to earn interest on crypto. The platform is secure and trusted from Singapore. Very responsive and caring customer care and support team.

The team is active on all major social media platforms with development team gearing up to add next major functionalities. I love their step by step approach to solve the challenges. Still waiting for their long term roadmap and vision but I am sure it would be to the moon.

License from MAS Singapore would be a Hugh success and increase the creditability in Crypto space.

Overall: Overall I love what the team is doing. Platform is great to use and easy. High interests on the crypto.

Pros: Great interface and easy-to-use! Customer service is also very fast. I had some concerns about the security of funds and they reassured me within 24 hours. Would recommend.

Cons: None yet. I was worried about fund security, but they reassured me.

Overall: Excellent and a happy customer! Would recommend. Best rates on the market right now, very hard to beat.
