"Saves my time" Edited 2021-11-23
Pros: I have benefited from Google Alerts because it saves me the time from having to check manually the keyword results that apply to my client's pages. Allows me to have confidence in what information is out there and how it may affect new customers getting to my client's websites.
Cons: Sometimes the results aren't as specific as I would prefer, but in general covers all the bases I need.
Overall: I am unable to tell or be notified by Google Alerts if my client's keywords are being searched organically by others.
