About Gardience
Gardience is a Windows and Linux fleet management platform built on Salt, available as self-managed software or a vendor-hosted service. It provides patching, CVE exposure checks, configuration and drift controls, and STIG- and CIS-aligned security baselines with exportable audit evidence. IT teams can inventory servers, schedule and approve changes, and review tamper-evident activity records. Ansible playbooks run through Gardience, while a Terraform provider can enroll new machines and apply configurations. A REST API and MCP server support automation and AI-agent workflows, with human approval required for changes. The product also offers CMMC Level 2 assessment workflows, including policy templates, evidence collection, and System Security Plan and POA&M support. It is designed for teams responsible for mixed Windows and Linux estates, including regulated and air-gapped environments.
