Pros: - Centralises personal information to be able to easily populate all required documentation.
- Creates a streamlined process to be able to work through a whole funeral arrangement.
- Easily customised products and services, along with prices, information and images to make selections easy.
- Prompts where required information is missing and takes you directly to the source to complete.
- Signing of documents remotely via secure link, or in person on tablet.
- Family can complete personal information prior to meeting with Funeral Director.
- Links directly to our government registration system, along with accounting software and email server.
- Fast and clear responses from help desk when required. Regular system updates.
- Easy to use on desktop, tablet and mobile device.

Cons: - As a national program and the regulations for each state vary slightly, there are sections of information we don't require, though it is easy to skip over these.

Overall: I have been using FuneralBuddy for many years now which includes their original version and newly updated version. There has been a significant improvement in the new version and it is clear that they have really considered both the funeral and family sides of the program to make a great UX.

FuneralBuddy really is the backend of our business as a central location for information and forms, of which there is a lot for every individual case. To be able to enter information once and have it appear on all of our documentation is a significant time and resource saving for us.

Pros: Support team are very responsive. Does all you need effectively and efficiently to manage a Funeral Home.

Cons: Some sections are not relevant to our state therefore not used by our team

Overall: There are many features to this software. So many that I still haven't utilized them all to their full capacity.
Easy to use, does what we need, good support, good overall

Pros: The ease of entering each client data on one occasion and Funeral Buddy manipulates the data to reproduce all the forms required for the industry.
The ability to interact with the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages definitely makes this a lot easier and the ability to apply for a certificate from their office is only the click of a button.
Once the invoice draft is prepared it will allow for printing or emailing directly to the customer for faster communication.
Funeral Buddy then connects with the accounting system and allows for easy reporting to the Australian Tax Office.
Support is quick and efficient too when needed.

Cons: It takes a few case files to get used to where certain things are in the system when data is required to be extracted but once the navigation is learned, it has become easier.

Overall: I love how Funeral Buddy allows us to enter each case file data once. Previously I was entering it for Council, Births Deaths & Marriages, accounting software, our previous record system and manually completing forms for the various companies and organisations we deal with. Now we enter it once and Funeral Buddy does the rest.
