"Excellent product with loads of flexibility for Salesforce admins" Posted 2026-08-12
Pros: - My form builder of choice as a Salesforce admin due to the easy-to-use Salesforce connectors
- Loads of customisation and flexibility in the form building, conditional logic, calculated fields and validation
- Highly customisable branding themes
- A variety of payment connectors
- Good user guides and documentationCons: - Somewhat expensive for a non-profit where we only have 2 user licenses
- More advanced analytics cost extra, which is out of budget for a non-profit like ourselvesOverall: I'm a Salesforce Admin and have used FormAssembly as our form builder of choice at 2 different non-profits. It's really easy to use - especially with a fairly good library of user guides - with an intuitive UI. The Salesforce connectors work great in both production and sandbox environments.

You can also highly customise your branding themes which was a huge benefit for our org when or Marketing and Comms team needed us to implement some accessibility features into the form branding!
I especially enjoy how customisable the forms are, and how easy it is to use. Some form builders have very clunky UIs, and features/functionality are not always easy to surface. FormAssembly's UI is very intuitive and clean, making it a breeze to use functionality like conditional logic, calculated fields and variables, validation and REGEX expressions.
My only slight complain is the cost is a little high for some non-profits compared to other form builders, and when I've looked into the more advanced analytics tools before these also appeared to require additional payment.
That said, the basic package is suitable for our needs and does most everything we need it to do. I will continue using FormAssembly as our form builder of choice and would recommend it to other Salesforce Admins too! -

Pros: - Salesforce connectors are easy to use and adaptable.
- Support are helpful (when they are eventually able to reply)Cons: - It would be great to have a drag and drop function in Workflow. Its a nightmare when you add conditional logic but then can't remove it afterwards if you've made a mistake, because if you do remove, it, it deletes all of the following steps as well.
- No way to filter lists of workflow responses
- 'Replay' function does not work and breaks workflow responses - Replay connector only works properly at form level
- Support take wayyyyy too long to reply. If we have an urgent issue, we can't guarantee that we get a reply, even within a week.
- Live chat function is only available on US hours. This puts customers elsewhere in the world at a disadvantage.
- There is no way to track the status of your support tickets anywhere
- Little to no communication on how big issues affect customers, for example, there was an issue with not being able to map checkboxes into Salesforce as boolean values. This became an urgent issue for us (and I heard for other customers too) but there was no public communication shared on this/ about when it would be fixed. Some acknowledgement of this would make it a lot easier for everyone.
- Workflows can function quite slowly sometimes if containing a large number of steps.Overall: Overall, I've never used another form builder so I have nothing to compare it to, But i've always used FormAssembly and I enjoy using it. Its just a shame that there are some quite obvious changes that need to be made that hold it back. I just don't see how the technical support function is sustainable as it is going forwards when customers have urgent issues.
