About Excalibur View
Excalibur View is a drawing viewer, markup and takeoff program for construction, written by a working structural steel estimator.
Markups are ordinary PDF annotations, so a set marked up here opens in Bluebeam Revu or Adobe with everything in place. It imports Revu .bpx profiles and .btx tool sets with their tools, custom columns and unit weights.
Measure length, area, count, volume and angle at the drawn scale. Tools carry their own unit weights, so a measured beam puts tonnage on the takeoff as it is drawn. The Shop List reads the same markups back as a cut list, with stock length, saw kerf and drops.
Free for one person, including paid work, with no account and no expiry. Offices add Excalibur View Office at $250 per seat, paid once, on a machine you own. Updates are an optional $100 per seat per year.
