Companies interested in a powerful document, contract and email management solution

About DocMoto

Document, contract, and email management. Find and access all of your documents, emails, and digital files from one easy-to-use interface on Mac or Windows. For the past 25 years, vendors have pushed browser-based document management as being the answer. Clunky and awkward was the criticism back then and it is still true today. DocMoto changes that with true app-based interfaces for both Mac and Windows. DocMoto is app-based for both Windows and Mac. It does not have the restrictions of pure browser-based solutions. For example, users can drag both in and out of the app. It is also familiar to work with; on Windows, it feels like Explorer, on Mac it feels like Finder. From native plugins for Outlook and Gmail to automated email routing or just plain old drag and drop, DocMoto provides easy, workable methods to manage your emails.

    "Not for busy litigation firms."

    Posted 2021-12-29

Pros: Very little. The search function is hopeless, the data migration process was nothing but headaches, and it is hardly better than managing documents through Windows Explorer.

Cons: Virtually everything. Again, the search function is hopeless, the data migration process was nothing but headaches, and it is hardly better than managing documents through Windows Explorer.

Overall: The support team tried their best. However, the product is simply wanting. The moment I started butting up against DM's limitations, and realized they were systemic, I began planning my exit.
