About ConflictsCheck
ConflictsCheck is a web-based conflict-of-interest screening tool for solo attorneys and small law firms. It stores client, opposing-party, related-entity, officer, agent, and matter records entered by a firm or imported from CSV. When a new matter is considered, the software searches those records—including closed matters—using normalized and fuzzy name matching, officer and agent cross-references, and cross-matter history to surface possible connections with match scores. Attorneys can review each alert, record a decision, and retain a timestamped audit trail that can be exported as CSV for firm records or bar submissions. ConflictsCheck is intended to support, not replace, an attorney’s independent conflicts review and professional judgment; it searches the firm’s own records rather than court dockets or public registries.
