About CertChase

CertChase is a self-serve web application for general contractors and remodelers to track subcontractor certificates of insurance (COIs) and trade licenses. Teams can paste subcontractor details from a spreadsheet or upload a CSV, set need-by dates, and invite subcontractors to submit documents through individual upload links without creating accounts. CertChase extracts key fields from uploaded PDFs for review, identifies missing, expired, or insufficient coverage documents, and sends scheduled email reminders until requirements are addressed. A status board summarizes which subcontractors are current, expiring, or need follow-up, while a shareable view and weekly digest help project and operations teams monitor paperwork. The service is designed for teams that manage vendor compliance themselves rather than outsourcing certificate review.

Free for up to 25 subcontractors. Pro is $49/month for up to 100 subcontractors or $490/year. Business is $99/month for up to 300 subcontractors or $990/year. Annual plans are priced at two months less than equivalent monthly billing.
