FirmTape is a web terminal for traders of S&P 500 index options (SPX). It rebuilds dealer positioning from the options tape every second: the zero-gamma flip, call and put walls, the hold band, an order-flow book signed print by print, the option-implied expected move, and a calendar of market events. The archive of 1,097+ finished sessions is free and needs no account, with second-by-second replay of every session. The built-in Lab tests a rule written in plain language across the whole archive and reports honest statistics, including "no edge". A hosted MCP server makes sessions and levels available inside Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. The paid tier streams the live intraday feed during the US session. FirmTape publishes measurements of dealer positioning, not trade signals. Methodology and failed studies are documented in the public research section of the site.
