About Business Box
Business Box is booking software for small service businesses in Japan. Publish a booking page with one link per appointment type, each with its own length, price, questions and hours, and customers book themselves into your real availability. It stays in step with Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook (including Microsoft 365): existing events block out times, and each booking is written into your calendar with a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link. Take card payment in yen before the slot is confirmed, straight into your own Stripe account with no commission, or show the price and collect it in person. Japanese public holidays, including substitute holidays, close your diary automatically. Booking pages, confirmations and reminders work in English and Japanese, following each customer's language. A REST API with webhooks is available on every plan. The free plan has no time limit and needs no card; taking card payment online is ¥1,200 a month, tax included.
