"This platform has helped me boost my workflow."

    Posted 2023-04-30

Pros: I have the freedom to define different fields, filters, orders, relationships, groups and formulas to organize and analyze the data that I need. Within this platform I can easily switch between various views, as well as grid, calendar, timeline, map, and chart views, all of which I can do within Airtable to visualize my data as effectively as possible.

Airtable has templates available and they are custom made for every need that I have when creating tables from scratch and not knowing where to start, this has been great to use, as well as the flexibility of its interface that has opened up the Possibility and ease of customizing dashboards to specific requirements. I like how the interface resembles a spreadsheet, but in this case Airtable has much more advanced functions where I can easily add, edit, organize or delete records, all of which can be done using keyboard shortcuts or simply using the use of drag and drop. With this it has helped me save time within my projects by increasing productivity without sacrificing functionality. I can also integrate collaborative work within this platform, where the members of my work team can leave comments, mention collaborators, receive notifications and modify the boards where Airtable shows the respective records of each member, all this happens in real time and also each user is notified by the actions made by each member who is collaborating together.

I like the ability to integrate Airtable with other platforms, this gives me the advantage of being able to connect this platform with hundreds of other services and applications on other platforms that I use. This has allowed me to connect my Airtable databases to Slack, Gmail, Zapier, Mailchimp, Google Drive and Dropbox services, among others. Thus facilitating the automation of workflows, synchronizing data more quickly, being able to send emails, I have also been able to generate reports and do more work without even leaving this platform to do all this.

Cons: Although Airtable is powerful for managing dashboards, that doesn't mean that it doesn't have some limitations that sometimes hinder my user experience. One of this is that under the plan there are limits on various things that can be encountered, such as number of records per database, space for attachments per database, revision history per database, contributors per database, automations per database. and integrations by base. Therefore, in most cases you have to upgrade to the more expensive plan just because a single feature is not available in a lower plan, this can be a problem for small businesses that do not find profitability in paying for a more expensive plan.

There is also a complexity limit to handle spreadsheets with respective analyses. While the platform offers basic functions and formulas, it is not as powerful as dedicated spreadsheet software for doing advanced calculations or analysis. I have also faced format issues or errors while importing or exporting data from or to other formats which is frustrating and time consuming.

The level of support that Airtable offers is also based on the plan chosen. So free plan users can only access the help center and community forums for support. Users on paid plans can access email support, but may have to wait for a response. Business plan users can access phone support, but may have to pay more for it, which can be a significant inconvenience for those who require immediate assistance.

There is a steep learning curve. While the platform is generally easy to use, it has a wide range of features and functions that can take some time to master. Thus becoming a significant inconvenience for individuals or teams that need to start using the platform quickly.

There is also a lack of security on this platform, I am aware that this platform has some security measures in place, such as two factor authentication and data encryption, it does not provide the same level of security as other enterprise level platforms. The consequence of this is that sensitive or confidential information may be exposed if a better security measure that is handled in other platforms with a high business level is not implemented.

Overall: As a real estate professional, I am constantly juggling multiple tasks at once. From managing client relationships to scheduling property viewings and keeping track of important documents, there is always a lot to keep track of. That's why I've found Airtable to be an incredibly useful tool for streamlining my workflow and improving my productivity.

At its core, Airtable is a flexible database that allows users to create custom "bases" that can be tailored to their specific needs. Each base can be broken down into tables, which contain individual records that can be sorted, filtered, and linked to other tables. This makes it a powerful tool for organizing and tracking all sorts of information, from client details to property listings and beyond.

One of the biggest benefits of using Airtable is the ability to customize it to fit my specific needs. For example, I can create different tables to track different aspects of my business, such as a table for client information, a table for properties currently on the market, and a table for properties that have sold. Within each table, I can create custom fields to capture the specific data that is relevant to that category. This helps me stay organized and ensures that I have all the information I need at my fingertips.

Another key benefit of Airtable is its ability to collaborate with others. I can invite team members to access my Airtable bases, allowing us to work together seamlessly. This is particularly useful for teams working on complex projects or managing large portfolios of properties. We can easily share information, update records, and keep track of progress in real-time. This saves us time and ensures that everyone is on the same page.

In addition to its organizational benefits, Airtable also has a number of other features that have proven useful for my work in real estate. For example, I can easily add attachments to records, allowing me to keep important documents, photos, and other files all in one place. I can also set up forms to collect information from clients or other stakeholders, which can be automatically added to my Airtable base. And with the ability to view records in a variety of formats, including calendar view and Kanban view, I can quickly get a visual overview of my workload and prioritize my tasks accordingly.

I have found Airtable to be an incredibly useful tool for my work in real estate. Its flexibility, customization options, and collaboration features make it an essential part of my workflow. Whether I'm managing client relationships, tracking property listings, or working with my team to close deals, Airtable helps me stay organized, focused, and productive.

"It is one of the most valuable tools I have to stay focused."

    Posted 2023-04-02

Pros: Airtable is useful to manage any type of business, I really like how flexible and customizable it is, I can handle multiple data in multiple ways since it connects or runs within a database. It's like managing a spreadsheet where you can enter various formats and be able to manipulate them to my liking. With this I have been able to create boards, calendars and other ways where I can store information to be able to display it in the style I want, and everything will be connected. With the Airtable interface I have many ways to process data in different tabs by different variables, thanks to this each data is associated to another and I don't have to make repetitive entries.

The workspaces are managed separately, although all the data is interconnected within Airtable, these can be managed in workspaces for each client and for each project, in addition to the fact that each workspace has a theme as well. than his own board where he makes everything different and works the way you want. These workspaces can be shared with the corresponding users, or they can be managed completely independently, for example, I can have a work team for each project or simply carry out personal or individual projects.

The calendars are also automated and by this, I mean that it is not necessary to add additional information when one is adding data to the boards such as execution dates and assigned tasks, it is simply done automatically, it also shows the people involved in each process and on each date. There are also multiple ways to display in workspaces the way work times will look, such as Gantt charts and a calendar with an overview, giving me a more personalized look by not only having a view preset by this platform, but that with the tools that Airtable gives me and the multiple applications that it has within its store, I can process the data in different ways.

Cons: Automations are limited, I can even say that I prefer to use an external platform that can do this job at a lower cost with unlimited automatable tasks and multiple steps. Since Airtable has exaggerated limits with the number of times or tasks that can be executed automatically, plus the steps are not infinite, so it is very difficult to reduce the tasks executed in several steps, instead you have to execute several tasks when the Number of steps reaches its limit. For this reason, I keep opting for other automation tools that, in addition to better integrating other applications with Airtable, also allow more actions to be performed automatically.

The version for my tablet and smartphone does not compare at all when using Airtable in the browser, even the desktop version seems more appropriate and complete than it is faithful to the platform in its web version. This is disappointing because I mostly lead a very busy life where I am constantly on the go and require a platform that can move at my pace, I could use Airtable through Safari or Chrome on my tablet but this will have very slow load times having that always load the entire system, on the other hand it is very different to have the application installed where you only consult data and you will not need to download the interface, making the work much faster and more practical. For now, if I want to do more advanced procedures, I have to use my desktop to be able to use all the possible features, otherwise, if I want to use the basics, I have my smartphone or tablet, but I would like all the advanced features to be available on the apps.

It does not have a dark mode, it is disappointing that at the moment they cannot make a simple function that changes the theme colors of this platform, it is disappointing that I have to use third-party applications such as a browser extension where you can have a dark mode. Having dark mode natively within Airtable will bring many benefits in that you can spend more time within the platform without eye strain, many platforms currently use it and I don't understand why they haven't implemented this feature. In addition, the Airtable team seems to not listen to the community because there are many things that have been asked to improve / add for better performance and practicality, but no answers or solutions have been received, a disappointment.

Overall: I have a space that gives me the chance to develop the best content and also improve productivity with my work team when offering a service. With the Airtable tools, I have effectively improved customer communication through the forms that are generated within this platform, thus giving clearer information management by specifying exactly what the customer wants. From what I can say that the information we have is now managed very well, since thanks to this platform I can work on the data I have, and I can store it in a space where my team and I can use it for commercial purposes. This has saved me a lot of time since when a decision is required which implies solving a problem, said information can be consulted in order that this platform has, this being an enormous help.

The planning of my work team is much more organized and now it is possible to keep up to date with the status of the projects that are being managed, both those that are in execution and the next projects that are being built collaboratively. With these characteristics, I have already managed to improve business performance and, in addition, both communication and knowledge in the matter of applying the best practices and strategies that allow solving the visibility of the entire organization have been further polished.

Together with the sales team, it was possible to achieve good CRM management, and which shows good results by having the most satisfied customers with our work. It was also able to connect with platforms like Salesforce to import contacts to this platform and thus not have to do all the work of manually entering customer contacts.

"It is not only a project management platform."

    Posted 2022-12-05

Pros: + I have loved being able to order lists depending on the expiration date, others I also like that the status can be changed, for example: in progress, sent, etc. This in order to facilitate the work of what is finished and what is not and keep the workflow impeccable.

+ I have had a good user experience with its interface, it is quite didactic and simple to use since all its panel is well represented graphically depending on the functionalities. Also, I am used to Excel sheets so this made it easier for me to manage well within this platform.

+ It is nice to have templates which facilitates the work process depending on the type of management that is given to this platform. It is from project monitoring, calendar, launch monitoring, event planning, etc. In turn, it also adapts depending on the industry or work area in which it is located.

+ I can have different views that allow me to see the data in real time of my projects and thus be able to notice any mishap that is occurring at any time. This is highly valued for me because I don't miss anything that is happening within a project within this platform, so I keep everything organized without losing the workflow.

+ Its prices have been one of the best than other platforms, and I say this because of the variety of functions that can be used with this platform. I've generally seen other platforms limit themselves to project and task management, however, it doesn't have the wide variety of trackable properties that Airtable does. It also adapts to any area or scope of work to make things easier.

Cons: - It takes time to adapt when talking about full automation. You may need technical support for this work since to see an optimal result there are certain characteristics that must be understood when applying it in your day to day within your company.

    - I really don't understand why there isn't a field customization, sometimes I wanted to create fields to add data and it hasn't been possible. The only way I have been able to do it is by contacting technical support to be able to perform said action. That feature should be by default in most plans if it is a workaround to add it.

    - I would like to improve the integration with many applications. An example would be Google spreadsheets, since every change I made to the spreadsheet would be updated directly in Airtable and thus not have to pass everything manually once the work is done on another platform. This would also allow you to easily import what an employee does from a third-party platform that is not implemented in Airtable.

    - Somehow I have not been able to connect data between databases, this was very annoying because at the end of the day I have to replicate data from one database to another manually and this hinders the day-to-day work since that is not automated process. Please, I would like you to fix this problem.

Overall: Within my company we handle a large amount of data regarding projects and clients, so this platform has been able to handle all that data when we want to manage a project, make accounts or track any aspect that is handled within the company where a large number of employees and customers are involved. It has made it easier for me to have different work tables within the same platform and thus be able to work together with all the departments of the company, thus keeping the data in one place for more practicality and data management.

It has been possible to assign tasks from different departments to a single work table in order to unify and simplify the company's projects. In addition, that the clients have been satisfied by being able to be part of the entire project management process from its creation to its completion. There has also been good feedback when changes have had to be made or certain aspects of a project have to be improved, both as the head of a department within my company and the changes requested by the client.

Its versatility has allowed my company to meet deadlines, as well as power and improve the management of all our projects. I can say that since we used this platform there has been an increase in performance, planning has been improved and employees have less confusion when executing a task. All this is seen in real time so I have not missed anything when it comes to being aware of the progress of the projects that are active at the time, likewise I have not been limited when I have to edit things and add more details if necessary.

As for the return on investment, it has been a relief to have this tool since everything is in the cloud and we have not had to generate paperwork expenses. In addition, when any doubt arises, it does not call meetings because comments can be made within the same platform that allows feedback from the entire company to resolve said doubt.

    Edited 2022-11-14

Pros: First and foremost Airtable assists expand productivity and efficiency across all teams. It's very beneficial for the distribution of tasks. It also helps you in creating a blueprint for projects. Its Gantt graph and table view of tasks are truly excellent.

Overall: We feel more productive after using Airtable in our project division. It covers all the requirements of operations and marketing teams. With Airtable we have been able to eliminate every bottleneck we faced. I'm able to track every project status. Overall, Airtable is versatile work management software that helps to eliminate every bottleneck in the workplace.

    "Airtable Review"

    Posted 2022-10-18

Pros: The templates getting started is the best part of Airtable, Airtable sets up various use cases for you ranging from project management templates to Sales CRM and more.

Cons: I'm not sure that Airtable does any one thing extremely well, it does have a ton of functionality but eventually gets limited to more complex use cases limiting scalability.

Overall: Airtable can be a good replacement for spreadsheet services, especially due to the ready-made templates that make it easy for you to set up and get started with your objective very quickly.
The ability to works with external apps and integrations also improves the experience while doing so.
It's also free to get started using, which allows you to text multiple functionalities before getting into it long term.

    "Great database tool"

    Posted 2021-12-22

Pros: Lots of automations & integrations available.
Ability to make custom views / filters.
Don't need to be a coder to customize.

Cons: Need to spend time to be a super user.
    Pricey.
Not super as a project management tool (but can be made to work).

Overall: Expensive to have an enterprise plan. Admin portal is lacking functionality to add/remove people from bases/workspaces from the portal. But highly customizable tool that has been very useful.

"Some ways better than Google Spreedsheets, Some Ways Not"

    Posted 2021-10-12

Pros: The platform helps you organize data in more robust ways than typical spreadsheets. For example you can embed singular or multiple images into a cell in an organized manner and add a variety of tags per row, which helps to better organize complex data sets. They also have good templates and a marketplace of pre designed bases (their word for spreadsheets) if you needed to get started quickly for a specific use case (e.g. Organizing Marketing Assets). Supports a lot of integrations into other tools.

Cons: This shouldn't be used as a substitute for a database if you have mission critical tools/offerings that many people will be accessing internally or that are customer facing, they have a low rate limit and support less concurrent. users as compared to using traditional databases such as MongoDB or Firebase etc. There is a bit of a learning curve using the platform and it can be a bit slow to manipulate as compared to a regular spreadsheet, for example when adding rows or cells it can take longer setting it up.

Overall: A robust platform for organizing data, especially if the data set is more complex than you would use in a traditional spreadsheet. I use both spreadsheets and Airtable depending upon my needs. Great if you have a non technical team that wants some robustness without having to have your IT team set up tools.

    "So Sleek!"

    Posted 2021-09-12

Pros: Airtable is beautifully designed and so easy to learn and use. I like how visual this database app is and so versatile!

Cons: I wish users weren't restricted to table/grid/calendar views but that I could create an entire library with it (like with Notion).
I had to request support once and the listening skills (reading, really) were sub-par.

Overall: Airtable is the most beautiful spreadsheet-style database editor I have ever seen. Easy to use and very visual.

    "Spreadsheets Simplified and Better Designed!"

    Posted 2021-08-15

Pros: Using this service for the first time was like revealing the curtain on what else spreadsheets could do to help me organize my business better. It's simple to use, easy to learn and better designed than traditional spreadsheets. You can do a lot more with Airtable and realize the power of spreadsheets from a new perspective.

Cons: The excitement of using spreadsheets for processes and organizing can lead to overuse. I had created so many spreadsheets that my dashboard got cluttered even thought I had color coded them and categorized them. An Active, Design and Archive status for each base would help filter things out better.

Overall: Great app! This app helped empower to work faster, smarter and more productive. It's what every app should do but most fall short making using the app confusing to use. Get organized with Airtable!

    "Best organizational tool around"

    Posted 2021-05-24

Pros: I love Airtable. Anyone who enjoys using Excel as an organizational tool will love Airtable too! It has a few handy features that excel doesn't, such as being able to click and drag to rearrange columns, having ranked hierarchy of sorting by different fields, and being able to store attachments such as photos and invoices. Because of these really intuitive features, people who are intimidated or overwhelmed by spreadsheets will likely prefer Airtable to Excel. I use Airtable to manage my personal todo list, to build detailed shot lists that I share with our photographer, to manage my budgets, to keep track of missing assets, and any other task that comes up. All documents built on Airtable can be shared in a number of ways: viewable, editable, editable and sharable. This makes it a fantastic tool for collaboration. It was ESPECIALLY useful during the pandemic, but I cannot imagine not using it forever now.

Cons: Because my personal use of Airtable is so similar to what can be done with excel/sharepoint (it might not be for other users), it is hard to not make direct comparisons. While there are several features that Airtable has that make me prefer it to excel, there are some unfortunate limitations. When building a document in Airtable, whatever field you put as your first column is unmovable. It must remain there-- there is no inserting a new column to the left of it or dragging it elsewhere. That is the first value forever. If you have first-column-regret, it isn't hard to export the information and reimport it into a new sheet with your new desired column order, but you do have to go through these extra steps. And if you were storing attachment in the first sheet, those will have to be added back manually to the new sheet, and those will not be transferred by csv upload.

Overall: Airtable is amazing. There is a small learning curve, but once you realize how robust a tool it is for organization and collaboration, you will not be able to turn back from it.

    "Easily Organize Information"

    Posted 2021-05-17

Pros: Change views for better productivity. Styling options. Easy to learn and use for any person in your business. Large database of spreadsheets provided by other companies to copy template to work from.

Cons: Can easily create too many spreadsheets, called "Bases", that will crowd your dashboard. Specific features you want might force you to upgrade to a higher plan than you really need.

Overall: More features for your spreadsheet that resemble apps. Great software for standardizing processes and building app prototypes. Anyone in your business can use this software. Get important processes in order and start collecting all the information.

"Excellent program that helps to keep everything organized"

    Posted 2021-04-19

Pros: The projects are always well managed with this program; I have the certainty of getting any activity and evaluating it to get a systematic purpose that saves time and has fluency in my day-to-day work. Its price pleases me; I am thrilled.

Cons: I wouldn't say I like that this program contains a very overloaded interface of information or functions.

Overall: This software has been the closest to what we were looking for; we lacked organization and control in the activities. However, Airtable came at the right time to alleviate the project management processes and be a little more productive. We have complete control of the company with the workflow. I recommend it; I like this software too much to encourage quality and management of activities. You will have a highly professional approach, and you can be more efficient in projects; it works very well.

"Airtable makes data work more flexible"

    Posted 2021-04-12

Pros: The Airtable screen can be customized in case you want to work with text fields added to databases, or with completely template-based forms. Being able to integrate the Airtable platform with services such as Dropbox is very positive, as it is a foolproof way to keep data safe.

Cons: In Airtable we can opt for different methodologies to apply to our data lists, which make it possible to choose the type of view that will have our information online, and the type of accessibility we want them to have. That is why there are no points against the platform, which entirely fulfills our objectives.

Overall: The scope of Airtable can be varied and easy to delimit depending on whether you are going to work with databases in list, with spreadsheets, or with integrations to services oriented to the development of IT projects, as is the case of GitHub. It is very good for creating log data filtering, so that the work is defined and specific.

"Airtable Displaces Excel as the best spreadsheet service"

    Posted 2021-04-10

Pros: Airtable has been presented to us as a much simpler alternative to Excel. It gives us a spreadsheet with much simpler and more accessible options for modifying and creating formulas. It has allowed us to organize calendars with activities, create schedules for employees, create detailed projects with each of the activities to be performed and much more. At the same time, everything is synchronized to a cloud.

Cons: It has a version for mobile devices that lacks specific features for sharing documents compared to its version for computers. One of them is the lack of the ability to schedule an analysis of project progress, edit certain documents such as statistical graphs or synchronize pre-established schedules.

Overall: What we like the most is that it is an alternative option to the traditional Excel, which we consider more complicated to use. We fully recommend it as it has several extensions that can be adapted to spreadsheets. Likewise, it has partnerships with cloud synchronizers such as OneDrive. Although we consider that for its mobile version it does not simplify the work but does not hinder.

"Airtable can become an evolution of Excel"

    Posted 2021-03-29

Pros: In terms of collaboration, this program provides us with a facility for collaboration and planning of projects and shareable tasks. It handles a spreadsheet to manage documents, projects, calendars, contacts, among others. It is a very useful tool as it offers the option to create databases for different uses.

Cons: In its version for mobile devices, it has a lower proportion of applicable elements than in the computer version, for example, the creation of analysis and reports or manage calendars and graphics editors. At the same time, it does not have workflow editor tools for any device.

Overall: Although it lacks formatting and usability features for its versions to different devices, it is an excellent alternative if you do not want to use programs such as Microsoft Excel, for example, in addition to adding additional features such as variety of managements based on a spreadsheet, it is sharable through the cloud by different extensions such as OneDrive and Dropbox.

"Airtable: Collaborative project management on your own"

    Posted 2021-03-25

Pros: It presents us with various views and ways to manipulate and collaborate with data. We use collaborative input templates to quickly create online databases. We use Airtable for some of our online collaboration needs, especially those related to project management and structured information collaboration. It's great at helping us organize and exchange information and data together. It works between spreadsheets and online databases, with a lot of templates and views.

Cons: To adapt to data processing and processing methods, some learning is required. Certain formatting restrictions (e.g. conditional formatting).

Overall: The Airtable platform is well suited for collaborative representation, exchange and manipulation of data and information. Setting up different databases is fast and provides many templates and views to help make things as efficient as possible. It also provides administration and sharing tasks through the Kanban view. My point is that Airtable's communication option is not your best option, so if you have many communication needs, it's best to consider using one tool at a time.

"Intuitive and best of Collaporation tool"

    Posted 2021-02-20

Pros: Every user has his own view preferences depending on his work.
The biggest strength of Airtable is how it lets its users to be able to track the progress of their projects, viewing every department and the task they are doing.

Cons: The process of highlighting cells is not easy and also copy/paste.

Overall: Airtable makes it easy for users to work on projects because of its spreadsheet nature making it more convenient and letting them do a lot more.
Assigning tasks has increased accountability by letting everyone know what needs to be done.

    "Organizing/Admin dream!"

    Posted 2021-02-02

Pros: This app makes my life as an admin so easy! I keep a lot of important lists and documents to help me complete admin tasks for a consulting firm. I don't have to search through files on a drive to find what I need and it stays up to date if I want to share with others.

Cons: I do wish that you could color code rows in the spreadsheet view without using filters. In other spreadsheet programs you can simply click on the row(s) you want to be a certain color.

Overall: I enjoy the ease of this software and that I can still export anything to a file if needed. I love keeping certain documents connected to a particular category or "base" so that I can download them easily when I need them.

"Lots of features, without being cluttered"

    Posted 2020-11-12

Pros: Airtable's one of those newer cloud based softwares that promises to give the functionality of countless other apps, and I gotta say it does so quite nicely. Whereas before you might have to jump around between separate apps for a spreadsheet, a calendar, a project management milestone tool, your favorite mass email software, or even a UI mockup software, Airtable somehow manages to provide it all.

Cons: With all robust software, there'll always be a learning curve. Airtable's isn't that steep, but it's still there. Airtable's pricing doesn't scale that well for mid-sized teams, but fortunately the free version is decent as long as you don't need to run too many automated workflows.

Overall: One Airtable to rule them all, we're taking the productivity apps to Isengard. No seriously, you can replace most of your existing workflow with just this one.
