AMFG

Pros: I find myself to be a bit of a control freak. With AMFG’s ability to monitor machines in real-time and gain full visibility and process control, I have been able to identify and resolve production issues quickly and stay in control while doing so. The historic and live machine data is extremely useful for identifying bottlenecks and optimising processes. My efficiency is constantly improving as well with the feedback data loop.

Cons: I have nothing to complain about. I'm just looking forward to the new features in the coming months, as I have requested one.

Overall: The system is beneficial for identifying and resolving production issues. Efficiency is improved overall. I highly recommend AMFG as a machine connectivity solution.

Pros: AMFG software good for big companies because of options of send data to other software. It saves time and money. It has also payment options and good data management. Good for many business.

Cons: Take a long time to set up. It is not an easy process, however it is very stable when installed. No problems otherwise.

Overall: Good for big business. I like AMFG because it help us with smaller tasks and also larger data operations.

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by the range of integrations offered by AMFG and how easy it was for me to connect it to some of the software we are using, like CAD and some of our CRM tools.

Cons: There are one or two of our other software’s that do not integrate with AMFG, but it’s not a major train smash.

Overall: I am truly happy with AMFG, especially the integration options and the ability to create new integrations with third-party software.

Pros: I am happy with the software from AMFG to connect my machines. It helps me see what is happening and have control over my processes. This software is control all my machines.

Cons: Need much support to understand things. Expensive software also.

Overall: AMFG is very good for me and makes my work good. This software is convenient and time-saving. Recommend it.

Pros: I have been impressed with AMFG's defence-level security features. We have great confidence in the system and how it protects our information. For anything we were concerned about, the AMFG team was happy to explain and answer with facts.

Cons: I find the system difficult to navigate sometimes. But the team have made contact to assist me with further training.

Overall: It is a great software and has helped us improve our internal organisation and client management. We are satisfied.

Pros: You can manage post-processing and QA workflows, which I find useful for our project managers. Direct machine connectivity ensures that all parts meet the required regulatory standards and you can simplify your certification process with the system's complete traceability for thorough quality documentation.

Cons: Reporting needs to be improved for our needs. The customizable options also do not fully align with what we need as of yet.

Overall: We implemented AMFG a few years ago and since day one I have been impressed with the system. It’s easy to see why AMFG is the market leader in quality assurance for additive manufacturing once you have the system.

Pros: Since my company has started using AMFG’s MES software, my job has become significantly easier and more organized. This is because you can identify and resolve problems that may arise as the software provided you with real-time status and live updates during production. As a CNC operator, I like how the system provides a complete overview of the production floor so I can track and analyze performance.

Cons: I have found external barriers when setting up automation, which can be annoying when we need them done quickly.

Overall: Overall, jobs within our company have improved. We find it easier to solve problems with AMFG and our organization within the company has improved. The biggest benefit AMFG has for my position is that it provides a complete overview that is needed to track quality and performance.

Pros: AMFG’s metal 3D printing option has made a big difference in my work. I used to spend so much time trying to understand the difficult limits and needs for after the process, but now I can rely on their tools to do jobs over again.

Cons: Set up of integrations too difficult, must get support for simple integrations. Bugs in the software not good.

Overall: The software needs much time to learn, it very complex in many sections, but AMFG does show a big change in the business and the team.

Pros: I like that it provides you with the ability to intelligently automate quote generation and guarantee efficient order turnaround to your customers. I also like that the estimates of production times and costs are precise, so you can confidently accelerate RFQ success and you are able to reduce the time from customer interest to order.

Cons: The wide range of features does justify this, but AMFG’s cost can be relatively steep for some manufacturers.

Overall: The CNC space needed a system like AMFG. It can make your quoting process much smoother, resulting in faster order turnaround.

Pros: Having a system implemented on our premises was an important requirement when looking for AM software and AMFG went over and above with assisting us with that. The team communicated effectively with us during the whole process, keeping us in the loop of what was needed and what was going to be done and they were open to answering any queries we had during that time. After our implementation was completed, they provided us with the training we needed and continue to provide us with great customer support.

Cons: My pro also has its cons. Implementing a system on your premises takes a lot of time. Patience and understanding are needed during this process.

Overall: AMFG’s team go above and beyond. They provide effective communication, training and ongoing support.

Pros: I have been in the manufacturing industry for many years, more than two decades to be exact, and I must say that AMFG’s system is one of the best quality assurance tools I have ever encountered. I have not come across another system that can manage post-processing and quality assurance from a single platform the way AMFG does it. Our quality assurance process has improved significantly and continues to do so the more we make use of the system.

Cons: Some users required a bit more training than others as the system felt overwhelming for them. There is much to learn about the system that can be a drawback for those who are not fast learners of new software.

Overall: Some may find the system daunting, but the benefits outweigh any overwhelming feeling. AMFG provides a solution that enhances overall product quality and improves your quality assurance. It’s a great system for those who need to up their game.

Pros: I feel there are many pros to AMFG, but I will just mention a few of my favourites. The system has enabled us to manage post-processing and quality assurance workflows with consistent part quality due to the live machine data. The digital solution for quality documentation simplifies our certification process. The system has exceptional features that allow for complete visibility and traceability throughout the processes, from start to finish.

Cons: 1) Some modules get bugs in the system. 2) Could benefit from a more polished user experience.

Overall: AMFG’s digital solution and exception features for viability and traceability have helped us to manage quality assurance, amongst other things. There is an overall sense of trust within the system's capabilities that we can uphold our standards without the pressure of making more mistakes than we should be making.

Pros: I am no longer worrying about the security of my confidential information. The security AMFG has enough for us to feel our data is protected well.

Cons: There are a lot of software updates the system has. We understand this is for bugs and security but they could time some of them better to not affect our production.

Overall: AMFG is helping us do better within our business and we always know what's going on in the production. With that and the safety assurance, we’re happy with the software.

Pros: I can not tell you how many different MES software I have tried, but AMFG has been the best so far. The real-time planning and MRP options are user-friendly and so beneficial to my business. I can easily track and keep inventory levels where they need to be and see where I should be making better decisions.

Cons: The reporting features could be better for me personally.

Overall: I’m chuffed with the features AMFG provide us. It almost meets all our business needs and even more.

Pros: The fact that it has an array of logistics integrations. We have been able to manage our shipments without any hiccups. The system is highly secure, ensuring ITAR compliance and ITIL security standards.

Cons: We have experienced bugs within the logistics module, but they never become bigger problems than they need to be.

Overall: AMFG is a great solution for those who need reassurance that their data is safe. We are satisfied with it.

Pros: I am impressed with how highly versatile the system is. You can choose between on-premise or cloud setup which I found to be useful, and the team at AMFG are there to assist you throughout the whole process. This is especially useful as we felt overwhelmed at first. We only just recently implemented the system, but I can also say that the ordering portal and order management features are great for streamlining the process.

Cons: Although the promised functionality was not immediately available during our setup, the support team provided us with invaluable assistance.

Overall: AMFG continues to impress me with new features that help my business. Just when we thought we would only need to use certain features on the system, we are surprised with more available features that I find greatly beneficial. I highly recommend AMFG.

Pros: I enjoy the versatility of AMFG’s payment gateways as it has been a huge advantage for my business. There are many options available that allow you to cater to your customer’s preferred payment methods. Small options like this make a noticeable and positive impact on your customer service and delivery.

Cons: Initially, the promised functionality wasn’t quite ready yet when we did our setup a few years back. The initial setup also took us longer than expected, however, I will praise the team for giving us the hands-on support we needed during the process.

Overall: Your customer service can be improved just by using the AMFG solution. Something as simple as diverse payment options can truly make a big difference to customers. I could not ask for a better support team from them either.

Pros: I run a rather large enterprise and was in dire need of software that could integrate with our business’s existing ERPs and PLMs. AMFG meets the requirements we have as it allows for automated data transfer based on logical rules. Automated data transfer through the system saves you valuable time and resources that you would not believe. After using the system for some time now, I have seen the benefits of their push data capabilities as well, as it allows you to easily access information about orders, pricing, delivery and many other sections of your process.

Cons: It’s not often, but we have had one or two cases where we wanted to set up an API integration and we need to contact support to assist us. This can be frustrating when you are on a time crunch.

Overall: The integration options have assisted us in automating data transfer. This has not only saved us time but provided us with access to vital tools and information throughout our process. Although support is needed occasionally, the system has proven to be beneficial for our business and I would recommend it as beneficial to other enterprises.

Pros: When I tell you AMFG has made my life so much easier, I mean it. This has mainly been because I can connect AMFG to my accounting software, and with that possibility, I do not have to worry about managing my accounting process manually.

Cons: AMFG’s software is expensive, but it is an investment considering all that we have achieved with it.

Overall: I love how seamlessly AMFG connects with other solutions and how it has made our financial management easier.

Pros: I am someone who likes to have things well organised so that I can manage them better, and AMFG meets my needs with that. Having the ability to manage all my orders and automate my outgoing quotes has meant that I can manage my business better and there are less likely to be human errors during one of the most important phases in our process.

Cons: There are a few small things here and there that we would like to see updated, but nothing that doesn’t allow us to still work effectively.

Overall: I can’t believe what a positive change AMFG has made to our business in regards of management and effectivity.
